drak's guest room

a miniature set i built and photographed in less than an hour. everything is practical except for the bluish light.

Brendan Bellomo - "Mr. Drak's guest room was always tidy, but never occupied, except for the musty smell from his dirt and soil collection."

Japhy Riddle - "While he enjoyed the company of his guests, rarely was that enjoyment reciprocated. This was largely due to the fact that every guest underwent extensive brain relocation by means of prolonged exposure to, and forced inhalation of, Phemzo-plant spore-radiation every twelve days."

Brendan Bellomo - "Drak always put out a splendid array of rare hors d'oeuvres for his callers. Pink Glos, chilled Pleo-degs, and sauteed Blorgenian-Whomp-Spheres. But only the children dined from the trays of illuminated delicacies. They had not yet grown wise to Drak's subtle tricks."

Japhy Riddle - "But, whom had grown the least wise? Whom had been brutally incorporated right into the electronic fabric of Drak's well-oiled Amalgamatron? None other than little Tillama Skorz. Her bones now served as the dutifully functioning pistons whirring away day in and day out (but mostly day out)."

Brendan Bellomo - "But her bones were merely the physical interface to Tillama's treasure. The daydreams of her bone marrow. Day in and day out (but mostly day out) she, or rather her skeletal remains, would twirl the mechanical dance through the Amalgamatron. And the sloshing marrow would sing to Drak of bright worlds, still filled with sun-soaked Olanotoks, and innocence."
