laser spaghetti boy

i came across a laser pointer in the house. the first thing i thought when i picked it up was "this would be great to use for a long exposure shot.". the image above is my favorite from a photo session chris norton (who is the one in the photo) and i did with this technique. below is another shot from the session.

this time, we mounted the laser pointer to a computer fan mounted to a tripod. we tilted the rig upwards whilst exposing for fifteen seconds. it's not completely even, but it's great for a test.
