my first animation shot at 30 frames per second. in 1989 or '90 my dad bought a hi-8 minolta video camera. its tape deck was the most accurate deck i've seen to this day. if you were recording and you pushed the record/pause button, the tape would stop instantly. this was great for in-camera editing. if you double tapped the record button, it would advance the tape one frame. this was the best way to do animation, and this is the first animation that i did which used that feature. the only copy i could find was this vhs transfer backup (from analog hi-8 to vhs to vhs again. some unintentional video xeroxing, eh?). it's actually in 24 frames per second now
because, let's face it, 24 looks better than 30. enjoy.
