a "one night stand" band. this was technically
the first azura practice. it's me, aaron zonka,
lee miller(azura's secondary guitarist when we
had one. and altered
beast), and his youngest brother, dale. If one were to listen to the
recording, they would not find a remnant of azura
material. they would here a bunch of improvised joke songs (there's even
a track where aaron raps). the name carlo rossi refers to a brand of wine...
from sacramento? me and ben layva (one of the shocktaco guitarists and member
of mis for mustache) plus some more people, some of which were canadian,
played the "rhinoceros game" with "carlo rossi" for
multiple hours. it was such a good session that the game is now sometimes
called the "carlo rossi game". cover art by brian adams and lee
